Constructed in 1977 at the border of the woods of Fontainebleau, the Uruguay High School Uruguay has the advantage of a natural environment with a lot of quality. The existing architecture is characterized by an accumulation of different buildings with various heights, organized around a patio and connected with galleries, hallways and courtyards. This operation directed on the reorganization of the entry and the restaurant gave the opportunity to rethink these two atypical spaces. Before the intervention they were trivialized, but with their specificity and their importance in their daily use in the establishment, they deserved a calibrated architectural writing to influence the image and the practical use of the entire high school.
